Pakistan reportedly orders 18 International NGOs to leave country: Report

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has shutdown operations of 18 International Nongovernmental agencies and told to leave Pakistan on suspicion of anti stateactivities.

As per the media report, Pakistan has ordered 18 international aid agenciesto shut down operations and leave the country.

ActionAid charity has revealed on Thursday, in what would be Islamabad’slatest move against foreign-funded groups.

Most of the groups do work on human rights issues, and a previous shutdownorder accused one aid agency of pursuing “an anti-state agenda”.
