ISLAMABAD – Federal government has decided to call back the Ambassador inUS, Ali Jehangir Siddiqui.
Federal government plans to recall its envoys to Washington if he do notrelinquish charge themselves, said Federal Minister for Broadcasting andInformation Chaudhry Fawad Hussain here on Wednesday.
Minister Chaudhry said the ambassador to Washington and the highcommissioner to Ottawa – Ali Jehangir Siddiqui and Tariq Azeem — shouldhave handed in their resignations, as they were both political appointees.

“But if they don’t, we will recall them,” he said while responding to aquestion. The minister, however, did not give a time-frame for the recall.
