ISLAMABAD – The Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar hhas warned thatformer President Pervaiz Musharraf would be brought to Pakistan and itdepends upon him as how he wants to come to Pakistan.
He on Tuesday remarked that the Supreme Court will continue issuing redwarrants if Pervez Musharraf does not return to Pakistan.
The chief justice’s remarks came as he headed a three-member bench hearingthe case related to National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), passed byMusharraf in 2007.
As the case’s hearing went under way today, the former president’s counselAkhtar Shah apprised the court that he had talked to his client onSeptember 27. “Musharraf has medical and security issues but he haspromised that he will return,” Shah said.
