*WASHINGTON – Verizon, a US based company, announced that it is bringing 5Gto home users in US.*
There has been tense competition between carriers and internet serviceproviders to claim the title of the world’s first 5G commercial network. Bylaunching 5G for homes, Verizon has solidified it’s claim for this title.
Other US based carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile have been upgrading theirnetworks to support 5G on mobile, while hardware manufactures like Huaweiand Xiaomix are developing 5G smartphones.
In a bid to promote the service, Verizon is offering three months of 5GHome internet for free. After this three-month period, the service cost $50a month for Verizon customers.
