BEIJING – China has expressed strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition toa US warship’s entry into the neighboring waters of China’s islands nearSouth China Sea.
Spokesperson Chinese Foreign Ministry Hua Chunying said in Beijing onTuesday that the US destroyer entered waters of islands without permissionof the Chinese government.
She said the Chinese Navy identified the US warship, warned and expelled it.
