ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Babar Awan will be indicted onOctober 24 in Nandipur reference.
Accountability court I Judge Muhammad Bashir on Tuesday heard the NandipurPower Project reference. The court fixed October 24 as the date for theindictment of Babar Awan, former PM Pervaiz Ashraf and five others in theNandipur Power Project reference filed by the National Accounability Bureau(NAB).
In last hearing, former PM Pervaiz Ashraf was granted permanent exemptionfrom appearing in the case after submitting Rs 0.2 million of surety bond.
Two former federal ministers, Naveed Qamar and Khawaja Asif, have becomewitnesses against PTI leader Babar Awan. A total of 35 witnesses willtestify, including three NAB investigation officers, in the Nandipur Powerproject reference.
