RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa onWednesday visited North Waziristan District (NWD).

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), theCOAS was briefed on security situation, border management, progress ofdevelopment works and rehabilitation of TDPs in the district.

On the occasion, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed his satisfaction anddirected for continued focus on stability operations and socio-economicdevelopment so as to achieve enduring peace.

While interacting with troops, he commended officers and men for theircourage, dedication and spirit of sacrifice and said that we shall neverallow the reign of terror to return.
