ISLAMABAD – International Monetary Fund delegation is arriving in Pakistanfor crucial talks.
IMF delegation will meet finance minister, Asad Umar and Minister forplanning and development.The delegation will discuss the matters pertaining to the payment of loaninstallments.
Earlier during an interview with Arab News, Finance Minister Asad Umardispelled the notion that Pakistan is facing a financial emergency and saidthat there is no need to rush to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) fora bailout.
“Pakistan is not in an emergency situation that requires it to rush to theIMF to seek a bailout,” the finance minister said
“We have neither stopped imports nor imposed financial sanctions,” hecontinued.
