ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan takes important decisions in thefirst ever meeting of the Council of Common Interest of the new government.
As per the media report the PM chaired the first meeting of the Council ofCommon Interests Monday.
A seven-point agenda’s discussed in the meeting, taking place at the PrimeMinister’s Office starting at 11 a.m.
The summaries to launch a countrywide cleanliness drive and to streamlinethe regulatory functions of the federal government were presented forapproval in the meeting, according to sources.
Other agenda points include the harmonisation of standards between thePakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority and provincial foodauthorities, the Petroleum Exploration and Production Policy 2012, theWorkers Welfare Fund, Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution and the importof liquefied natural gas.
