ISLAMABAD – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry FawadHussain says the Prime Minister has given three basic principles for newlocal bodies system in Punjab.
Talking to media after Punjab cabinet meeting presided over by PrimeMinister Imran Khan in Lahore, he said these principles include empoweringlocal bodies, holding of elections through direct polls and simplifying thesystem.
The Information Minister said village council experiment in KhyberPakhtunkhwa was very successful whereas there was union council system inPunjab, Sindh and Balochistan.
