KARACHI – Karachi Police have booked a number of people for allegedlyobstructing the movement of President Arif Alvi’s security protocol inKarachi.

As per details, two separate cases have been lodged at different policestations on a complaint lodged by traffic police officers.

The Shahrah-e-Faisal police registered an FIR, accusing an unnamed citizennot only of obstructing the president’s convoy on Shahra-e-Faisal onSaturday night, but also prompting other citizens to not stop theirvehicles to give the way to it.

On the other hand, President Arif Alvi declared that registering a firstinformation report (FIR) against the person protesting the VIP protocol wasridiculous.
