RAWALPINDI – The funeral prayers of seven security personnel, who martyredin an operation in North Waziristan, were offered at GHQ in Rawalpindi onSunday.

According to the statement of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), thefuneral prayers of martyred Cap Junaid among six others army personnel wereheld in the GHQ. The ISPR said that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) GeneralQamar Javed Bajwa attended the funeral prayers.

The army’s media wing said, after the funeral prayers, the bodies were sentto respective native towns for burial ceremony with full military honour.
