DUBAI – Shoaib Akhtar has an advice for the Pakistan cricket team ahead ofthe crucial match against India.
Shoaib on Sunday advised Pakistan cricket team to put pacer Muhammad Amirin the line-up of Super Four fixture against India at Dubai InternationalStadium.
“Muhammad Amir might not get the swing in Dubai pitches, but he is anexperienced campaigner and should play against India because he has theability to change the match on his own,” Shoaib Akhtar shared his opinionregarding today’s match against Pakistan and India.
Referring to the group stages fixture in which India convincingly beatPakistan by 8-wickets, Akhtar said the team should forget about whathappened in the past and focus on the upcoming battle.
He added that the top-order, especially openers Fakhar Zaman andImam-ul-Haq must take their time. “The key is to make a good start and thencapitalise on it. Not just the top order, the middle order, but the entirebatting line-up needs to step up.”
