ISLAMABAD – The registered e-commerce merchant numbers has witnessed morethan 2.6 times rise in recent time amid 3G/4G services and availability ofcheaper smartphones and Internet packages.
E-commerce market has been experiencing reasonable growth.
Pakistan has one of the highest rates of mobile and Internet penetration inSouth Asia, with 40 million Internet subscribers and 20 million Facebookusers.
This visible growth has encouraged many retailers to operate their ownwebsites or use online marketplaces to sell their products. Nevertheless,there is still much room to grow.
