LONDON – Former finance minister Ishaq Dar has reportedly filed anapplication for political asylum in the United Kingdom
According to media report, the PML-N leader visited British Home Office toinform them about cancellation of his passport by Pakistani authorities andhe also applied for asylum.
Reports added that Ishaq Dar recently visited the Home Office in order toupdate the authorities about his current status and to explain hissituation after having been left stateless post-cancellation of hispassport by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government.
