ISLAMABAD – Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development(OP&HRD) is about to introduce paperless culture in the ministry to ensurespeedy communication among its attached departments, besides ensuringdirect and quick access of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on OP&HRDSyed Zulifqar Bukhari into the affairs of the ministry.
The spokesperson of the ministry told APP Thursday that the department wasplanning to outsource the project to a private company and the work in thisregard was in progress.He said the concerned company had also given a presentation to the PM’sspecial assistant in recently held meeting.
The ministry would work on this plan in collaboration with NationalInformation Technology Board which had already installed e-governance inmany other organizations.It was aimed at establishing a framework to digitize the organizationalprocesses, he added.Moreover, a new comprehensive system was being kicked off to lodgecomplaints in order to provide quick relief to the overseas Pakistanis byconnecting them with the minister.
All the complaints would be monitored by the minister himself afterbecoming of the new quantifiable complaint system functional, he said.
