ABU DHABI – Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed has faced an injury and he maynot be able to continue in the second test.
As per the media report, Captain Sarfraz Ahmed has suffered a swollenforearm after copping a short ball by Australia’s Mitchell Starc.
He played an outstanding innings of 94 on the first day of the second Testin Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
If Sarfraz is unable to take to the field on Wednesday, Mohammad Rizwan maysubstitute him as the wicketkeeper in the ongoing Test. But Rizwan is noteven part of Pakistan’s squad for the second Test, so is the substitutioneven possible? As per revised ICC rules, yes.
