LONDON – Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG)Major General Asif Ghafoor has rightly claimed credit for defeatinginternational terrorist organisation Al Qaeda.
DG ISPR on Tuesday stated that peace in Pakistan is linked to peace inwar-torn Afghanistan.
Ghafoor made these remarks in his address to participants of YorkshireUniversity.
“Al-Qaeda [a terrorist multi-national organization would not have beendefeated without military and technical assistance from Pakistan. Worldshould acknowledge Pakistan’s unrivalled sacrifices in WoT”, Gen Ghafoorwas quoted as saying.
