NEW DELHI – Indian Army Major has been court martialed by a Summary GeneralCourt Martial (SGCM) of the Indian Army.
SGCM has convicted a Major General, in a 24-year-old fake encounter case,sentencing them to life in prison.
Major General AK Lal, Colonel Thomas Mathew, Colonel RS Sibiren, CaptainDilip Singh, Captain Jagdeo Singh, Naik Albindar Singh and Naik ShivendarSingh have been awarded life imprisonment for their involvement in a fakeencounter case in Assam`s Tinsukia district dating back to 1994, Zee Newshas reported quoting IANS.
