ISLAMABAD – Communist Party of China and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf haveagreed to further strengthen and make effective links between the twoparties.

The understanding came at a meeting between the two sides in Islamabadtoday.

The PTI team was led by party’s Secretary General Arshad Dad and thedelegation of the Communist Party of China was headed by the DirectorGeneral of South Asia Bureau of the Party’s International Department.

They also agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding between the twoparties.

The two sides exchanged views on Pakistan-China relations matterspertaining to mutual interest.

In his remarks, PTI Secretary General Arshad Dad said PTI has keen interestto learn from the Chinese experience of alleviating poverty.

He said China-Pakistani Economic Corridor is a fruit of the bilateralrelationship based on confidence.

The delegation of the Communist Party expressed good wishes for successesof the PTI government.
