NEW YORK – At the United Nations, Pakistan has called on internationalcommunity to focus attention on suffering of children in Indian occupiedKashmir and other regions of conflicts.

The demand was made by Pakistan s permanent representative to the worldbody, Maleeha Lodhi while speaking at a debate on Rights of Child in theUN s third Committee, which deals with Social, humanitarian and culturalissues.

She said from Syria to Palestine and Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir,children continue to be caught in violence which has neither been chosennor made them.

Maleeha Lodhi said children are victims of unimaginable horror everyday.
