Dr Manan Wani: Funeral prayers in absentia offered for PhD scholar turned great Kashmiri freedom fighter irking BJP

NEW DELHI – Funeral prayers in absentia were offered for martyred hero ofKashmir, Dr Manan Wani who was a PhD scholar turned freedom fighter.

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has been ignited with the fact.

BJP Member of Parliament from Aligarh, Satish Kumar Gautam on Friday wrotea letter to the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)after students of the university allegedly offered prayers mourning thedeath of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Manan Wani.

In his letter to the VC he stated, “The university seems to be out ofcontrol. I advise you to empty all hostels and check details of allstudents, especially of those who belong to Kashmir.”
