ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court of Pakistan has rejected the appeal of theNawaz Sharnford lawyer.
SC on Friday rejected the appeal of Nawaz Sharif’s counsel to extend thetrial by another six weeks and directed to conclude the trial till November17.
The top court directed the three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s counselto conclude references filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)till November 17.
Earlier, Nawaz Sharif’s Counsel Khawaja Haris had written an applicationrequesting for the extension in the trial of former prime minister and hissons in Al Azizia and Flagship corruption references.
A three-member bench, headed by Supreme Court Chief Justice Mian SaqibNisar, heard the case pertaining to the Sharif family appeal to extendhearing of the corruption reference cases.
