LONDON – United Kingdom has lauded Pakistan’s extra ordinary efforts andthe success against the terrorism manance.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met General SirNicholson Carter, UK Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) during his London visit.
According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief waspresented guard of honour on his arrival for the meeting.——————————

Delegation level talks on security environment and cooperation were heldbetween both the military leaders.
Later, COAS called on Gavin Williamson, Secretary of State for Defence,Gareth Bayley, Prime Minister’s special representative for Afghanistan andPakistan (SREP) and Mark Sedwill, National Security Adviser (NSA).
During the meetings, evolving regional security environment and matters ofmutual interest were discussed.
British leadership was unanimous in acknowledging Pakistan’s extraordinaryachievements in counter terrorism and commended the improved securitysituation in Pakistan and its positive efforts towards regional peace andstability.
General Qamar said that Pakistan is moving steadily towards enhancedstability and is ready to take bilateral security relationship with UK tothe next level for mutual benefit.
The discussions ranged from the bilateral bond created by sizable Pakistandiaspora in Britain as well as shared interests in evolving globalgeo-political and geo-economic environment.
