WASHINGTON – The United States has repeated its threat to slap tariffs onan additional 267 billion dollars of Chinese imports if Beijing retaliatesfor the recent levies and measures imposed by United States.
Taking to newsmen in Washington, President Donald Trump said China is notready to reach a deal on trade.
Meanwhile, speaking at a news briefing in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministryspokesman Lu Kang said a trade war is bad for the global economy and not inthe interests of either country.
