ISLAMABAD – Dr Farrukh Saleem, an economist and financial analyst has beengiven an important task in the federal government.

He has been appointed as spokesperson on economy and energy issues.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the ministers to take parliament andmasses into confidence over his government’s economic plans, sourcesinformed Geo News Tuesday.

According to sources, the premier said that the incumbent government facesfar severe challenges than the previous governments and it has to makedifficult decisions to address the challenges while speaking in a meetingattended by party leaders, ministers and economists.
