LAHORE – A high level PML(N) meeting was held in Lahore today with formerPrime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the chair.
Senior party leaders including Syed Muhsahid Hussain, Ameer Muqam, Mushahidullah Khan and Rana Sanaullah Khan took part in the meeting.
Later, talking to newsmen, Rana Sanaullah Khan said the meeting discussedthe political situation after the arrest of PML(N) President, MuhammadShahbaz Sharif.
He said sessions of National and Punjab Assembly have been requisitionedand if sessions are not convened, then PML(N) will hold its own sessionoutside the Assemblies.
He said contacts are being made to all opposition parties in this regard.
Senator Mushahidullah Khan criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan’sthreatening tone during his yesterday’s news conference.
