ISLAMABAD – Australian cricket team may be visiting Pakistan next year fortwo ODI matches in Karachi.

An Australian security team would be visiting Pakistan for the securitycheck and if found satisfactory then Australian cricket team would bevisiting Pakistan for the ODI matches, PCB sources have revealed.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has contacted Cricket Australia (CA) toplay two ODIs in Karachi during their scheduled five-match series in Marchnext year.

Pakistan and Australia are scheduled to play five-match ODI series duringMarch 19 to 31 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and according to DailyExpress, the PCB officials have proposed CA to play first two ODIs of theseries in Karachi, while the rest of the series will be played as per theschedule.

For now, CA hasn’t rejected the proposal and they will send a team toPakistan to inspect the security measures in the hosting city, confirmed asource inside the board.
