ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to appoint a newproject director for the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The current project director of PSL Naila Bhatt has decided to step downfrom her post.
Bhatti — who is also serving as board’s marketing director — was givenadditional charge of PSL project director by previous PCB Chairman NajamSethi. She was also considered as one of the close companions of the formerPCB chairman.
If she resigns a month or two before the PSL’s next edition, GeneralManager International Cricket Operations Usman Wahla, Director DomesticCricket Operations Haroon Rashid and Director International CricketOperations Zakir Khan are likely to be the frontrunners to replace her.
