ISLAMABAD – Chinese telecom company China Mobile Pakistan will furtherincrease its investment in 4G in Pakistan and build 5,000 base stations innext three years.
This was stated by Chief Executive Officer of CMPak Wang Hua in aninterview published by China Daily today (Saturday).
He said we have over eight million 4G users, edging out all other operatorsin this area and capturing 75 per cent of the market.
Wang Hua said that the company was a forerunner to introduce 4G in Pakistanwhen the government auctioned the 4G spectrum in 2014.
The chief executive officer said we have also collaborated withride-hailing apps such as Uber and Careem to facilitate transportation forpeople.
