Pakistan Foreign Office lodges protest against India

*ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Foreign Office on Saturday summoned IndianDeputy High Commissioner J.P. Singh.*

*Pakistan has lodged protest over the unprovoked ceasefire violations byIndian forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimbar Sector.*

Yesterday, the Indian troops resorted to ceasefire violations, resulting inthe death of 22-year-old Munazza Bibi.

“The deliberate targeting of civilian populated areas is indeed deplorableand contrary to human dignity, international human rights and humanitarianlaws. The ceasefire violations by India are a threat to regional peace andsecurity and may lead to a strategic miscalculation,” said Director General(SA & SAARC) Dr Mohammad Faisal.
