ISLAMABAD – Federal government has refused to accept his key demand toplace the name of Asia Bibi on the Exit Control List (ECL).
The negotiating team comprising Religious Affairs Minister Noorul Haq Qadriand Minister for National Food Security Sahibzada Mehboob Sultan wasconstituted by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday.
The team updated the premier on the results of talks hours before hisdeparture to China.
The team has full mandate of the premier for holding talks with TLP leadersand is also in close contact with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar forconsultations.

During the last 24 hours, the team held four rounds of talks with TLPleadership, pressing them to call off its protest against the Supreme Courtdecision suspending the death sentence of Asia Bibi.
