ISLAMABAD – PTI government has taken the final decision of not privatisingthe Pakistan International Airlines.
The Board of the Privatisation Commission has not recommended the sale ofloss-making state-owned companies Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) andPakistan Steel Mills (PSM).
Chairman Mohammad Mian Soomro convened a meeting on Tuesday where the boardconducted a review of the privatisation program and finalised entities tobe included in the list of active privatisation program.

According to a press release, the review was conducted after consulting allrelevant ministries and due consideration was given to feedback provided bythem.
