ISLAMABAD – Supreme Court of Pakistan has taken notice of the transfer ofInspector General of Police, Islamabad.
Secretary interior on Monday alleged that decision of transferringIslamabad Inspector General of Police (IG) Jan Mohammad was taken withouthis knowledge.
As per details garnered, the secretary appeared before Supreme Court ofPakistan (SC) in suo motu pertaining to transfer of Islamabad IG onpolitically-motivated reasons.
Hearing this, CJP summoned Establishment Division secretary at 3:30 PMtoday.
Earlier today, CJP Justice Saqib Nisar on Monday took suo motu notice ofalleged transfer of Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IG) Jan Mohammadover not picking phone of a federal minister.
