ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has responded over the rumours of the conditions withSaudi Arabia over huge assistance package.
Foreign Minister has rejected the rumours of the conditions linked with theSaudi assistance package.
Saudi Arabia has not placed any conditions on Pakistan in return for a $6billion financial deal to help the country overcome a widening balance ofpayments and current deficit crisis, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshisaid on Wednesday.
Qureshi, who accompanied Prime Minister Imran Khan on the recent visit toRiyadh has said to a private TV Channel.
“How did Pakistan receive the deal?” inquired Mir, to which the foreignminister responded: “By the grace of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), I believe”.
The foreign minister said that the kingdom’s deal with Pakistan had noconnection with former Chief of the Army Staff General (retd) Raheel Sharifheading the Saudi coalition forces.
