“Muttahida Qaumi Movement leaders benefitted from it,” he said whileaddressing a press conference on Sunday. “I don’t know if Nawaz Sharifgained something from the ordinance or not.”
The controversial ordinance, which was issued by Musharraf, had grantedamnesty to politicians and bureaucrats accused in corruption and moneylaundering cases filed between January 1, 1986 and October 12, 1999.

He added, “Islamabad is the city of conspiracies.”
The Pakistan Peoples Party leader criticised the policies of the rulingPTI-government. He remarked that the need of the hour is for all parties towork together. “The government can longer run the country,” he added.
