ISLAMABAD – Dr Shehla Shakeel Sethi has been sent to jail on one-dayjudicial remand for threatening police officers on duty.
The woman was presented before the magistrate who rejected her bail pleasubmitted by her lawyer. Moreover, she has been sent on a one-day judicialremand.
Earlier today, police had arrested Dr Shehla Shakeel Sethi for threateningpolice personnel in federal capital, for not allowing her into a diplomaticenclave on October 17. Dr Sethi had been shifted to the female policestation after arresting from her residence in Chaklala.
On October 20, Assistant Sub-Inspector Police Tahir Farooq had registeredthe FIR in the Secretariat Police Station against the woman after shethreatened police personnel and hurled life threats when he tried to stopher from entering with a vehicle without a number plate.
