KARACHI – New developments have been reported in the Chinese Consulateterrorist attack.
Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Saturday arrested three allegedfacilitators in connection with attack on Chinese Consulate in Karachi.
Sources privy to LEAs told our correspondent that local facilitators hadassisted the BLA’s terrorists in carrying out the appalling attack.
Sources further revealed that local facilitators helped terrorists inpurchase of the vehicle used in attack.
They were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation. Police hasalso taken the alleged owner of vehicle used by the terroists. The policehas hinted at a breakthrough in the case in the next 24 hours.
Intelligence agencies also carried out operation in different parts ofKarachi on Friday night and arrested at least 10 suspects. The raids wereheld in Lyari, Baldia Town, Sohrab Goth and Orangi Town areas.
The attack was planned by banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA)commander Aslam alias Achhu who is currently under treatment at MaxHospital in New Delhi, after being injured in an operation by Pakistanisecurity forces near Sibi.
