RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturdaysaid the Special Service Group (SSG) of the Pakistan Army has proved itselfas the world’s best special force through its professional performance andgreat sacrifices.
Speaking at a ceremony held at the SSG headquarters in connection with theappointment of its first colonel commandant, the army chief hailed theforce’s unmatched contributions especially during counter terrorismoperations, according to a statement issued by the Inter Services PublicRelations (ISPR).
Major General Abid Rafiq was installed as first colonel commandant of SSG.
