ISLAMABAD – According to Water and Power Development Authority, a loadrejection test of all the three production units of Tarbela-4 project hasbeen carried out successfully.
A spokesperson of WAPDA said the load rejection test is carried out on thecomplete operational capacity of all the production units of the powerplant.
The spokesperson said the turbine performance of Tarbela 4 was also testedin the presence of an international expert.

The spokesperson said the three production units of Tarbela fourthextension project are providing electricity to the grid. Its totalcapacity has soared to 4888 megawatt. The project has so far produced 1.26billion rupees of cheap electricity.
