TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Friday sympathized with thepeople and government of Pakistan over the recent terrorist attack.

Bahram Qasemi condemned the terrorist attack to a market in northernPakistan, which claimed lives of dozens of innocent people.

The Iranian spokesman offered condolences to the bereaved families ofvictims and wished speedy recovery of the injured.

He also slammed the failed suicide attack on the Chinese consulate inPakistan’s Karachi.

Qasemi expressed happiness over failure of the attack and health of theChinese consulate employees.

The official called for serious and collective effort by all countriesagainst the sinister phenomenon of terrorism and the inhumane actionscommitted by terrorists.

A suicide bomber killed at least 30 people at a market in northern Pakistanjust hours after gunmen assaulted the Chinese Consulate in the southerncity of Karachi, killing four, dispatches reported.
