ISLAMABAD – Pakistan responds over Indian cabinet decision of openingKartarpur border.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said thatPakistan welcomes the opening of Kartarpur border.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Thursday, he said that the step willbenefit the Sikh community as it is birth place of Baba Guru Nanak.
The minister said that Indian Cabinet’s endorsement of Pakistan’sproposition on Kartarpur Border opening was victory of peace lobby in boththe countries.

Chaudhry went on to say that Pakistan had given this suggestion because ofits desire for peace, adding that Pakistan wants peace with both India andAfghanistan.
