LONDON – Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar stressed onWednesday that the construction of dams is imperative for Pakistan.
The CJP visited the committee room of Britain parliament on the invitationof UK parliamentarian Afzal Khan.
Talking to Pakistan-born members of British Parliament in London, he saidthat Kalabagh dam was surrounded by controversies therefore; it was decidedto construct Diamer Bhasha Dam.
He appealed overseas Pakistanis to donate in the dam fund as they are amajor requirement.
