ISLAMABAD – Former finance minister Ishaq Dar has said that the previousgovernment of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz had taken bailout package fromInternational Monetary Fund (IMF) to return the loans taken by the Asif AliZardari-led Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) during span of 2008-13.
Dar went on to say that incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) has already wasted much time pertaining to approaching IMF forbailout package.
He added, “[PTI’s] Govt should have finalized the tenets of bailout packagewith IMF early”.
