PUTRAJAYA – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday evening was given anunprecedented protocol upon departure from Malaysia.

PM Khan left for Pakistan after wrapping up his two-day official visit toMalaysia.

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad personally bid farewell to the Pakistanipremier, who boarded a special aircraft at Bunga Raya Complex of KLIA. Theplane took off at 9pm.link

Also at the airport were Deputy Foreign Minister Senator Datuk MarzukiYahya and Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr MdFarid Md Rafik, who is the minister-in-attendance.

Shortly after Imran Khan concluded his visit to Malaysia, Dr Mahathir tookto Twitter to thank his Pakistani counterpart for visiting the SoutheastAsian country.
