ISLAMABAD – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday approved 13inquiries against former federal minister for housing and works Akram KhanDurrani, former Sindh food minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro and others.
The Executive Board of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was held at theanti-graft watchdog’s headquarters with Bureau’s Chairman Justice (R) JavedIqbal in chair.
During the meeting, inquiries were also approved against former PeoplesUniversity of Medical and Health Services Shaheed Benazirabad vicechancellor Dr Azam Hussain, Amad Shah Bukhari and officers of CDA anddifferent other departments.
The anti-graft agency also approved filing of references against formerfederal minister for communication Dr Arbab Alamgir and adviser to formerprime minister Asma Arbab Alamgir Khan for having assets beyond income.
The NAB chairman directed the participants of the meeting to take the megacorruption cases to logical end on priority basis.
