SEINAGAR – Indian Army soldier was killed in an encounter that broke outbetween militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopiandistrict on Tuesday morning.
Based on specific information about the presence of militants in Nadigamarea of Shopian, security forces launched a cordon and search operation.
“Four militants have been killed and operation is still underway,” saidColonel Rajesh Kalia, Defence spokesman, Srinagar.
