*ISLAMABAD – International Cricket Council has dismissed PCB’s case againstBCCI over seeking compensation for India’s refusal to play bilateral seriesagainst Pakistan, ESPN Crinfo has reported.*
The case was dismissed by the disputes committee of the sport’s governingbody. ICC said that its verdict was “binding and non-appealable”.
The dispute between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Board of Controlfor Cricket in India (BCCI) is based on an agreement, which was signed in2014 to play six series between 2015 and 2023.
The PCB sought compensation of $63 million for the two series it wassupposed to host in November 2014 and December 2015, which were neverplayed.
