ISLAMABAD: Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development(MOPHRD) was formulating a National Emigration and Welfare Policy foroverseas Pakistanis.
The official of the ministry told APP, “The initial draft of the policy hasbeen prepared. After its finalization and approval, the same will beimplemented.”
At present, he said there is no formal policy for overseas Pakistanis. Theobjective of the policy would be promotion of overseas employment, welfareof overseas Pakistanis and their families and reintegration of returnmigrants to Pakistan.
