RAWALPINDI – A delegation of journalists from Gilgit-Baltistan, AzadKashmir and Hazara Division visited the Inter-Services Public Relations(ISPR).
Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor briefed the journalistover the issue of ceasefire violations, a statement from the military’smedia wing said on Monday.
The journalists shared their feedback on the security situation anddevelopment work undertaken by Pakistan Army. DG ISPR Major General AsifGhafoor apprised them of the situation along the Line of Control (LoC) andIndian ceasefire violations (CFV) deliberately targeting innocentcivilians, the statement said.
The DG ISPR said that despite restricted liberty of action for response toIndian fire due to presence of our Kashmiri brethren on both sides of theLOC, Indian fire is always effectively responded to by focusing on Indianposts only, as Pakistan Army is professional and responsible.
